Acer beTouch E200 Review

Acer beTouch E200 is a cool cell phone that not only looks ravishing but also got plenty of features. Even though is slightly heavy as it weighs 146g and measures 110 x 53.5 x 15.4 mm, it feels amazing to hold this phone. The phone has been built magnificently. It has a 3 inch-resistive touchscreen display that easily catches fingerprints. It has a display resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. The display does not become unclear when viewed under direct sunlight which means you will not face much viewing problems while using your phone outside.

Below the display, you can find the D-pad with the Send and End keys. The sides of the phone are metallic gray in color. You can find the volume controller, display lock key and miniUSB port on the left hand side of the phone whereas on the right hand side you can access the camera shutter. The stylus compartment is located at the upper left side of the phone. Sliding the screen will reveal the numeric keypad with keys that are very easy to press. At the back, you can find the 3.2 megapixel camera along with the loudspeaker.

Samsung Solstice SGH-A887 Review

AT&T had introduced Samsung’s TouchWiz UI by releasing the Samsung Eternity. Now, AT&T brings to you another Samsung phone – Solstice A887. The front casing of the phone is made up of plastic with a metallic finish whereas the backside of the phone has fake leather texture. It is very lightweight phone and it weighs only 94g and measures 109 x 53 x 12.7mm. The resistive TFT touchscreen display measures 3.0 inches and has a display resolution of 240 x 300 pixels. Even it is capable of displaying 262k colors, the display appears to be unclear when viewed under direct sunlight.

Below the display, you can find the buttons like Send, End and Back/Clear. On the left side of the phone, you can find the camera launcher and menu key whereas the proprietary charging/USB port is located on the right side. The 2 megapixel camera is housed at the rear of the phone along with the speaker phone. To access the microSD card slot, you will have to remove the back cover.

LG Cookie Fresh GS290

LG Cookie Fresh GS290 is another addition to the LG Cookie series of phones. The overall appearance of the phone is good but the features present on it are not something that would convince you to buy this phone. It is a mid-range multimedia phone. The phone has rounded edges and is very comfortable to hold. The phone is very light in weight as it weighs only 89g and measures 108 x 53 x 12.5mm.

The size of the TFT display screen is 3 inches that has a display resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. It has got a resistive touchscreen. Even though it does not have the best play but its display quality is equivalent to its competitors. Sadly, the phone does not come with the accelerometer feature. On the right side of the phone is the display lock key, camera launcher, microUSB which can be used for data transfer as well as charging your phone.
