The phone failed miserably as it could not play various multimedia formats. Now HTC is come up with a new version of the same phone, HTC HD2. HTC HD2 Leo is a thin phone which is rectangular in shape and sports a very huge display screen. The phone has a capacitive display screen that measures 4.3 inches and supports multi-touch input, accelerometer and proximity sensor. The resolution of the screen is 480 x 800 pixels and you can view anything on it clearly even under direct sunlight.

Below the display screen, you can find a new Menu button among the regular buttons. The Menu button has now become mandatory on all the new phones that run on WinMo 6.5 operating system. On the left hand side of the phone, you can find the volume rocker. At the bottom, you can find the microUSB port and the 3.5mm audio jack.

The phone does not come with a stylus. At the rear, you can find the 5 megapixel camera placed neatly between the dual LED flash and the loudspeaker. In spite of having such a powerful camera, it does not have a dedicated camera launch button. Removing the back cover will let you access the 1230mAh battery which gives a stand-by of 290/390hours on 2G/3G whereas a talk time of more than 6 and 5 hours on 2G and 3G respectively.

The HTC HD2 lets you access three of the most famous social networking sites such as Facebook, Tweeter and YouTube. Thanks to large sized screen, the onscreen QWERTY keyboard lets the user to type messages easily. The HTC HD2 can be used as Wi-Fi router to make wireless network as per the internet connection provided by your provider. The PocketOffice lets you access Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and PDF viewer. The phone also comes with navigating tools such as digital compass and assisted GPS.

You can surf on the websites by means of the web browsers like Opera Mobile and Internet. Surfing through Opera gives you added advantage of zooming over IE. The phone has a powerful 1Ghz process with 448mb RAM that will make sure your phone won’t encounter lagging issues if you run multiple applications simultaneously. All in all HTC HD2 Leo has surely lived up to the expectations and surely find many buyers.
