Here comes the Sony Ericsson TM506 with a sleek, easily usable design and a brilliant display. Also, its functional features set include 3G support, a camera, and a music player.
Assisted GPS
TM506 is available in black with green or black with chrome and orange highlights. The Sony Ericsson TM506 has a camera of 2 megapixel, paired up with a Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot for easy memory expansion. It also carries along the Sony Ericsson’s Media Center feature which allows you to easily manage photos and videos. The TM506 also supports an in built GPS module with TeleNav’s Navigator navigation software from T-Mobile to help you to easily find your way.
DESIGN
TM506 is a full-featured 3G phone. Physically, TM506 is a flip flop average-sized phone (3.7x 1.9 x 0.7″ HWD and weighs around 3.4 ounce) with along with “shiny black cover”. It has a really comfortable feel and a sturdy hinge.
The TM’s navigation array and keypad have a unique design. You can easily dial and test quickly.
Now the camera, it takes slightly over-sharpened but clear photos with nice, punchy colors. TM506 is also capable of supporting WMA, MP3, M4A, and WMA files. With this outstanding camera of 2-megapixel on the front there is a tiny display which is only for text and it shows caller ID, time and signal. As the text which is displayed on the screen is “black & white”, therefore it is quite clearly visible in almost any light.
As a matter of fact, TM506 is the first phone from Tmobile which has the potential and ability of supporting HSDPA on the unusual “1,700-MHz band”, along with “2,100-MHz HSDPA”, “850-1800-1900-MHz GSM/EDGE”. That means it is the fastest known T-Mobile phone till date. One can easily roam onto any of the “foreign 3G networks and also on the “AT&T’s 2G network”.
TM506 is known to possess the best call quality when compared to any of the T-Mobile 3G phones so far. A strong vibrate feature with sufficiently loud ringtones. It’s time to get trendy!
