Samsung i5700 Galaxy Spica – First Android Phone to Play DivX and Xvid Videos

Samsung i5700 Galaxy Spica is a successor of the phone named Samsung i7500 Galaxy that released last year. The Samsung Spica is powered with Android OS version 1.5 and 800 Mhz processor.The device looks quite similar to its predecessor and is available in two colors, namely black-red and green-white.The Galaxy Spica i5700 has a wonderful capacitive screen that measures 3.2 inches and has a display resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. The images appear bright and clear; however, when you view it under sunlight, the display will appear a bit unclear. The glossy finish of the body easily attracts fingerprints.

The buttons that are present below the display screen include the usually buttons except for a new button present on the left side that can be used for making a search across the phone contacts, calendars, SMS, Google, etc. On the left side of the phone, you can find the volume controller. On the top side, you can find the 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB port. On the right side, you can find the display lock/unlock button and camera shutter. At the rear of Samsung Galaxy Spica, you can find the 3.2 megapixel camera without flash.

Motorola CLIQ XT Review – A Cool New Social Networking Friendly Phone with 5MP Cam

motorola-cliq-xtMotorola CLIQ XT is the new Android (version 1.5) phone from Motorola. The phone is also known as Motorola QUENCH.It is on the same line of the T-mobile’s Motorola CLIQ released in September 2009. The main difference between the two is that the CLIQ came with a QWERTY keyboard whereas the new CLIQ XT is without a QWERTY keyboard. CLIQ XT has the social network friendly user interface which is best known as MOTOBLUR. Motorola CLIQ XT has a very sleek and neat appearance.

The phone is longer and wider than its predecessor phone. The phone weighs 130 grams and measures 116.8 x 60 x 12.4 mm. The phone is not bulky and easily fits into the pocket. The capactive touchscreen display measures 3.1 inches and has a display resolution of 320 x 480 pixels and supports 262k colors.

HTC DROID ERIS Review

droid-erisHTC Droid ERIS is Android powered phones from Verizon. This phone looks quite similar to the cousin phone – Sprint’s HTC Hero. Both HTC Hero and HTC DROID ERIS have the specs. However, the display screen of the DROID ERIS displays 262K as compared to 65K of Hero. The phone is often compared to another Android powered phone – the Motorola DROID. The Motorola DROID is a better phone as it has  3.7 inches display with a display resolution of 480 x 854 pixels.

HTC DRIOD ERIS has a 3.2 inch capactive touchscreen with a display resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. Above the display, you can find a sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness of the screen depending on the surrounding light level. When you keep the phone near your face while talking to someone, this sensor automatically turns off the display. The display fades when you view the display outside under the direct sunlight. Below the display, you can find the touch-sensitive buttons such as Home, Menu, Back and Search. Below these buttons, you can find the standard physical buttons such as Send, End/Lock/Power and a trackball.
