AT&T brings a new eco-friendly Samsung phone to the cell phone arena – Samsung Evergreen. The phone is made up of recyclable plastic. It comes with an energy efficient charger. By looking at the phone you will come to understand that it is a messaging phone. The body is made up of glossy plastic. It weighs 128g and measures 116 x 56 x 15 mm.
The Samsung Evergreen sports a 2.4 inch TFT screen. The display lacks sharpness and only when you increase the brightness, you are able to view the display clearly. Sony Ericsson Aspen is a Pocket PC device with Symbian interface and the Windows Mobile OS – WinMo Pro. This phone belongs to the eco-friendly line of Greenheart phones. The phone is made up of recycled materials. The phone measures 117 x 60 x 12.5mm and weighs 130g.
The size of the resistive TFT display is 2.4 inches and has a display resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and supports 65k colors. Below the display, you can find a big d-pad along with the control and navigation buttons followed by the 4-row QWERTY keyboard. Sony Ericsson Elm is another addition to the Greenheart family. Unlike other eco-friendly phones of Sony Ericsson, the Elm has got rich features. It is a candybar phone and its body is completely made up of recycled plastic. It does not appear cheap and the back cover is made up of anodized aluminum. The phone weighs only 90g and it measures 110 x 45 x 14 mm. It has got a QVGA TFT display screen that measures 2.2 inches. The images appear very crisp and clear. It comes with a power-efficient charger and does best to save the environment. It is high performance phone but is low on specs. It has a splash-resistant body and measures 102 x 49.5 x 16 mm.
