Recently Nokia introduced a very cool and versatile phone – the Nokia X6. It is a music oriented phone. As far as specs are considered, it is very similar to the good old Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone. Nokia X6 has got a capacitive touchscreen, inbuilt storage of 8GB/16B/32GB and has a 5 megapixel camera.

Here are some essential tips for your Nokia X6:

1. Messaging tips

Nokia X6 allows you to input texts through the onscreen alphanumeric keypad as well onscreen QWERTY keyboard. If you hold the phone in a landscape manner, the display of the phone will switch to the onscreen landscape keyboard automatically. This will let you type message with both hands. You can even download the Swype application and create texts faster.

2. Web browsing

You can surf high speed internet through 3G on this phone. You can also connect to the wireless internet through its Wi-Fi feature. While browsing double tapping on the screen lets you zoom into the webpage.

3. Using the camera

The 5 megapixel camera of Nokia X6 is capable of taking good photographs. However, you should avoid zooming because when you zoom, the resolution of the image decreases and the resultant images will not appear clear. Always to try to take snaps or record videos when there is good light in the surrounding.

4. Use media key

There is a media key that is placed on the top right corner of the display. It gives you access to several shortcuts such as Music, Gallery, Share Online, Video Center and Internet browser.

5. Task Manager

The white physical button located at the center below the display lets you access the Menu. If you press and hold the Menu button, it will pop a small menu with icons of all the running applications. If you want to close any application, you can press and hold the respective icon and then select Exit.

6. Save battery

The battery of Nokia X6 can drain quite quickly if you do not turn some features. Features like GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi consume a lot of battery when kept it on. Hence, if you are not using these features, it is advisable to turn them off.

Ovi Store is the place where you can find all the free and paid applications that can work on the Nokia X6 phone. Installing new apps on your phone will let you explore the capabilities of your phone.
