Touchscreen phones bundled with QWERTY keyboard have become quite common these days. Another new phone from LG that is added to this genre is the LG Xenon GR500. It measures 105.5 x 53.5 x 15.8 mm and weighs 108g. The phone is so compact that you won’t notice a bulge if you put in your pocket. The display of the phone measures 2.8 inches. The resistive touchscreen of the phone is capable of displaying 262k at a display resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. The response of the touchscreen is good. The display of the screen is viewable under direct sunlight if you set the brightness to the highest setting.
Below the display of LG Xenon, you can find three buttons namely Send, End and Menu button. You can control the volume of the phone by means of the volume controller located at the left side of the phone. The display lock is located at the right side of the phone. The camera launcher and the microSD card slot are located at the right side. You can make use of the microUSB port to charge and perform transfer. AT&T brings to you the new mid range LG phone – LG Vu CU920. The phone has got attractive design and the USP of the phone is that it allows you to watch television on the phone. AT&T brings to you the first touch screen prepaid cell phone – LG Prime. The phone looks very similar to the LG Vu Plus. It measures 108 x 53 x 13 mm and weighs only 89g. It is a very lightweight phone and the body of the phone is made up of plastic. The resistive display of the phone measures 3 inches and has a display resolution of 400 x 240 pixels and is capable of displaying 262k colors. The display becomes unusable when you view it under direct sunlight.
Below the display of LG Prime, you can find three physical buttons – Send, Clear/Back and Power/End buttons. On the left side of the phone, you can find the microSD slot and the volume controller. On the right side of the phone, you can find the display lock key, charger slot and the camera launcher. At the top you will find the 3.5mm audio jack. LG Vu was one of the first touch screen phones from AT&T and now almost after 3 years of its release, LG has come up with its successor phone – LG Vu Plus. The design of the LG Vu Plus GR700 is way different from its predecesor. It has a gunish metal finsh and has a slight chrome border around the display. The phone weighs 111.9g and measures 109.4 x 53.3 x 15.2mm. The LG Vu had a resistive display whereas the new LG Vu Plus has capactive touch screen display that measures 3 inches and has a display resolution of 240 x 400 pixels and supports 262k colors.
Below the display, you can find few physical buttons – send, end, and back/clear. The microSD card slot is present on the right edge of the phone and the phone lacks a 3.5mm audio headset jack. Moreover, LG does not provide headphones with this phone. The microUSB slot on the top side of the phone can be used for charging, data transfer and also for connecting headphones. After a long time, LG and AT&T have brought a phone to the market that is powered Windows Mobile OS – LG eXpo GW820. The phone measures 114 x 56 x 15 mm and weighs 147g and the phone is so slim that you will be surprised to know that it houses a QWERTY keyboard. The phone appears to be very durable and the chrome bezel outlining makes the phone look amazing.
It has got TFT resistive touch screen that measures 3.2 inches and has a display resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and supports 16 million colors. If you set the display to the highest brightness, you will be to view it clearly under direct sunlight. The proximity sensor adjusts the brightness automatically and helps in saving the battery. A secondary video calling camera is located above the display. For unlocking the display, there is a Smart Sensor finger recognition feature.
The LG eXpo lacks a 3.5mm audio headset and hence the phone is shipped with microUSB 3.5mm audio adapter that can be used to connect your own pair of headphones. LG introduces the new phone in the Rumor family for Sprint – the LG Rumor Touch. It is a very good looking phone and it really feels good to hold this phone. The phone measures 107 x 56 x 15 mm and weighs 133g. The outer construction of the phone is made up of durable material. It has got a 3 inch resistive touchscreen and has a color depth of 262k with a display resolution of 240 x 400 pixels.
Below the display, you can find three buttons namely, Back, Home and Phone. On the right side of the LG Rumor Touch, you can find the power and display lock key, 3.5mm audio headset jack and microSD slot. On the left side of the phone, you can find the volume controller and camera launcher button. At the bottom you can find the microUSB slot that can be used for data transfer as well as for charging the phone. The rear of the phone is beautifully designed with touch material and pattern.
