The LG Octane is a new addition to Verizone Wireless LG phones. The design of the phone resembles that of the LG EnV4. So, if you have used an enV series before you will come to know the similarities and differences easily. The phone measures 107 x 55 x 16 mm and weighs 128g.
On the front side of the LG Octane there is a small TFT display screen that measures 1.76 inches and has a resolution of 220 x 176 pixels. LG had announced earlier this year to roll out quite a few Optimus devices by the year end that will run on both Android and Windows Phone 7. LG Optimus Chic is powered with Android OS. The phone measures 112.5 x 57.9 x 12.9mm and weighs 132g. The exterior is made up of glossy plastic.
The capacitive touchscreen display measures 3.2 inches and has features like multi-touch, accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor and ambient-light sensor. Below the display, you can find the usual capacitive Android buttons. As far as hardware is concerned, LG has kept it quite simple with volume controller on the right and microUSB port on the left. LG have made quite a mark in manufacturing cool touchscreen smartphones. LG GM630 Viewty Snap is a very sophisticate looking phone. It measures 108 x 53.1 x 12 mm and it is very lightweight phone as it weighs only 87g. It has got a 3 inch TFT resistive touchscreen and it displays 256k colors at a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. When all the world is waiting for Windows Phone 7 devices, LG has managed to release first Windows Mobile device for Verizon – LG Fathom VS750. The phone’s look won’t impress you; however its durability can be felt through its plastic construction. The corner and edges are slightly curved. The phone measures 115 x 56 x 17mm and weighs 152 which is slightly on the bulky side. It has got a 3.2 inches TFT resistive touchscreen that is capable of displaying 256k colors at a display resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It is not easy to view the display under bright sunlight.
