U.S. Cellular’s Motorola Crush is a Simple Yet Charming Phone

Motorola-CrushMotorola Crush is one of the good looking touchscreen available at a very affordable price. The phone is available for $249.95. However, it is available at a price of $69.95 through U.S. Cellular. It is a candy bar phone that measures 4.17 inches in length and weighs 102g. You will feel very comfortable holding this phone. The size of the display screen is 2.8 inches and has a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. Many may feel that the size of the screen is small. On the left side of the phone, you can find the volume controller button, a 3.5mm audio jack and micro USB slot. On the right side of the phone, you will find the voice dial button, camera shutter and a slot for microSD. At the rear, you will find the 2.0 megapixel camera with no flash or mirror. Here are some weird things about the Motorola Crush.

On this phone, you won’t find the call receive and end buttons below the display because it is placed on top of the display. Above the display, you will also find the external speakers. On the screen, you will find the default shortcuts for new text message, dial pad, call logs and phone book. You can customize the shortcuts as per your requirements through settings. When you tap the display, you can access the user-friendly main menu. Whenever you want to type message or email, you can make use of the virtual keyboard to do so. Typing through virtual keyboard requires practice to get a hang of it. The accelerometer of the phone works quite well. The PIM applications include alarm, calendar and calculator. Motorola Crush can play music files such as MP3, AAC, AAC+. WMA and MIDI.

The camera has not much features except for a digital zoom. The clarity of the photos taken through the camera is just like any other 2.0 megapixel camera.motorola crushVideo capturing on this on this phone is not impressive. The internal memory of the phone is 150MB. The external memory of the phone can read a memory card of 16GB easily. Motorola Crush has a full HTML browser; however the features of the browser are limited.

Some of the other features of the phone include GPS and stereo Bluetooth. The battery life of the phone is decent with 4.3 hours of talk time and 500 hours on stand-by.
