Verizon Wireless has introduced a new Motorola phone with Android OS – Motorola Droid X M8810. This phone is the successor to the original Motorola Droid A855 that was released last year. The phone weighs 155g and measures 127.5 x 65.5 x 9.9 mm. It comes with a TFT capactive touchscreen display that measures 4.3 inches and has a FWVGA display resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and is capable of displaying up to 16m colors. It goes without saying that phone is bulky; however, the guys at Motorola have tried their best to make the phone as thin as possible.
Below the display of Motorola Droid X, there are four physical buttons namely Menu, Home, Back and Search. On the left side of the phone, you can find the microUSB and micro HDMI video port. On the top, there is power and display lock button along with the 3.5mm audio jack. On the right side, there is a volume controller and camera launcher. When you are not using the Wi-Fi on your phone. You can reduce the brightness of your display screen to save on battery.
