When first released the Motorola PEBL flip phone featured an iconic design which is still kept with the latest version. Whilst the old PEBL featured a silky matte finish, the new one (also known as the Motorola U9 or PEBL2) is the exact opposite and has tried to keep up with current styles by opting for a very shiny look to it. A rather unique feature is the display on the shell of the phone so that a few important details can be read without needing to open the phone.
