In the recent past, we have reviewed many TouchWiz phones from Samsung and here comes another phone that is powered with the TouchWiz – Samsung Impression powered by AT&T. The phone looks pretty cool and sleek and it measures 114 x 58 x 15mm and weighs 150g which make the phone slightly bulky. The body of the phone is made of blue colored plastic with chrome accents. It has got rounded corners and it feels good to hold this phone.
The Samsung Impression A877 truly impressed us with the AMOLED capactive touchscreen. It has got a display resolution of 240 x 400 pixels and measures 3.2 inches and is capable of displaying 256k colors. We did not face many problems in viewing the display under direct sunlight or any other lighting conditions. Below the display, there are three buttons namely, send, end and back/clear.
On the top right hand side corner above the display, you can find the proximity sensor and light sensor. On the left side of the phone, you can find the volume controller and on the right hand side, you can find a dedicated button for launching camera and screen lock key. At the top, you can find the USB port that can be used for transferring data and charging. On the back, you can find the 3 megapixel camera with flash and loud speaker. You can access the SIM card slot and microSD slot by uncovering the back panel. Sliding the display from left to right will give you access to the four row QWERTY keyboard. Samsung and AT&T have released plenty of phones starting from Samsung Eternity to the recently released Samsung Solstice and now they have come with a new phone – Samsung Mythic. The phone measures 114 x 52 x 12.7mm and weighs 109g. It feels very comfortable to hold the phone because of its plastic exterior. Samsung Mythic has a resistive TFT touchscreen that can display 256k colors at a display resolution of 360 x 640 pixels. The size of the display is 3.3 inches. Even though the phone looks amazing, it lacks AMOLED display. Still we were able to see the display clearly under direct sunlight. The light sensor located above the display automatically balances the brightness of the screen and the proximity sensor automatically turns off the display while holding the phone close to your ear while on a call. read more »

hese days it has become easy to find affordable touch screen phones. Samsung Monte is one such fun that delivers wonderful touch experience, looks good and has got plenty of applications. Samsung Monte is one of the stylish looking phones and has got charismatic design. It is sleek and the color stripe present on it makes it look even more impressive. The phone weighs only 92g and it measures 108.8 x 53.7 x 12.4.

Samsung Caliber is a powerful multimedia touchscreen cell phone that can be categorized as one of the mid-range touchscreen phones from Samsung. The phone looks very slim and is light in weight. It weighs only 3.59 ounces and measures 4.55 x 2.23 x 47. The body is made up of plastic and the phone appears to be very sturdy and comfortable to hold.
The display of the Samsung Caliber measures 3.2 inches. It is a TFT display and is capable of displaying 262k colors at a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. The display is very bright and clear but it is not the same when you view it under the sun. The response of the touchscreen is very nice and the TouchWiz UI makes sure you make the best use of it.

The Samsung Reality U820 is a Verizon powered phone that is available in variety of colors such as City Red and Piano Black. It has a glossy finish and has a soft coating that can be found on LG enV3. The phone measures 4.23 x 2.09 x 0.59 inches and smaller in size as compared to Samsung Rogue. The phone has smooth edges which gives the phone an amazing look. It has got a resistive touchscreen and has got a TFT display (instead of AMOLED display) that measures 3 inches and has a display resolution of 240 x 400 pixel resolution.
Below the display, you can find the send, end and back buttons. On the right side of the phone, you can find the volume rocker, screen lock key and a microUSB port. On the other side, you can find the camera button, voice command and speaker buttons, and memory card slot. The phone is capable of reading 16GB of memory. Sprint, the numero uno cellular provider in US recently announced the release of Samsung Seek. It is an affordable phone that is available in three colors namely, pink, blue and red to suit your style. It is a compact phone and measures 4.12 x 2.08 x 0.58 inches and weighs only 109g. It appears to be one of the smallest and shortest phones available in the market.
On the left side of the phone, you can find the volume controller and microSD slot and on the right, you can find the screen lock/power button, charging port and camera launcher. On the top side of the phone, there is 3.5mm audio headset jack and lanyard port on the corner. Below the display, you can find three buttons – back, home and phone function button. The home button is present instead of the menu button as the home button gives access to four tabs – favs, main, fun, and web.
The Samsung Seek has a resistive touchscreen that measures 2.6 inches and has a display resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The display appears be quite bright but fails to display clearly under direct sunlight. The internal memory of the phone is 128MB and can read up to 32GB of microSD. When it comes to performance, the display responded well to finger gestures and even the QWERTY keyboard was found to be user-friendly though we found it a bit small. read more »
