Sony Ericsson Elm is another addition to the Greenheart family. Unlike other eco-friendly phones of Sony Ericsson, the Elm has got rich features. It is a candybar phone and its body is completely made up of recycled plastic. It does not appear cheap and the back cover is made up of anodized aluminum. The phone weighs only 90g and it measures 110 x 45 x 14 mm. It has got a QVGA TFT display screen that measures 2.2 inches. The images appear very crisp and clear. The display is not clear when viewed under direct sunlight.
On the left side of the phone, you can find the proprietary port of Sony Ericsson. On the opposite side, you can find the volume controller and camera shutter buttons. On the phone, you can the Flash UI interface and come with four preloaded themes that features animated home screens. Sony Ericsson introduces another phone in the GreenHeart eco-friendly lines of phones – The Sony Ericsson Hazel. It is made up of recycled materials. It comes with a power-efficient charger and does best to save the environment. It is high performance phone but is low on specs. It has a splash-resistant body and measures 102 x 49.5 x 16 mm. It has a covered design and is slightly on the bulky side as it weighs 120g.
The scratch resistant TFT display measures 2.6 inches and has a display resolution of 240 x 320 pixels with 16m colors. The display remains quite clear under direct sunlight. The Sony Ericsson Hazel is a slider phone and below the display, there is a rectangle shaped D-pad with keys on either side of it. read more »

Sony Ericsson has come out with yet another impressive mobile phone – Sony Ericsson F100i Jalou. The rectangular design is impressive but few may find the design weird as it’s not anything like the traditional phone designs. Sony Ericsson F100i Jalou seems to be exclusively targeting the style focused segment of customers. The USP of Sony Ericsson F100i Jalou is not to offer all the possible features of a smart phone, but is to provide enough features for a reasonable price tag.

XPERIA X10 is the first phone from Sony Ericsson that is powered with Android OS. It is one of the most awaited phones from Sony Ericsson. The features of the phone are such that there is no other phone in the market that can rival this phone. It is a bulky phone as it has a display screen that measures 4 inches. You will find it very difficult to handle the phone with one hand. The rear of the phone is slightly curved and it weighs 139g.
The 4 inch TFT touchscreen display has a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and can display 65k colors. It has a scratch resistant surface. The accelerometer of the phone functions quite well and rotates the display when you hold the phone in horizontal or vertical manner. The display is very clear under direct sunlight. In 2008, Sony Ericsson had released the first Microsoft Windows Mobile powered phone – Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 in the market. This year, its successor phone – Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 is all set to hit the market. It is powered with Windows Mobile 6.5. The design of the phone is very intriguing and the phone looks quite similar to its predecessor as far as the build quality is concerned. The phone has a dimension of 110 x 54 x 16mm and weighs only 155grams.
The buttons present on the front side of the XPERIA X2 is prismatic in shape and in between them you can find an optical D-pad. You can find the microUSB slot placed on the left side of the phone together with a switch that can be used for locking the back panel. The volume controller and the camera shutter is located at the right hand side of the phone. On the top side of the phone, you can find the power button, 3.5mm audio headset jack and a place to keep the stylus. LED indicators are present on the top and bottom sides and they start blinking whenever you get an alert such as missed call, new message, etc. read more »

Vivaz is a first Symbian phone (s60 5th edition) from Sony Ericsson that allows the user to record high definition videos at 720 pixels with continuous autofocus thanks to its 720 MHz processor. The design of the phone is very contemporary, stylish and beautiful. The handset is completely made up of plastic and it weighs only 96g with a dimension 107 x 51.7 x 12.5 mm.
The display screen measures 3.2 inches and is able to display a resolution of 360 x 640 pixels. The accelerometer sensor of the display automatically rotates the display of the phone when the phone is held in vertical or horizontal direction. It does not have an AMOLED display and it becomes a bit difficult to view the display under direct sunlight.
Above the display screen, you can find the power button, earpiece and secondary video calling camera. Below the display, you can find the send, end and menu buttons. On the left hand side of the phone, you can find the 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB connection port and loudspeaker whereas on the right hand side of the phone, you can find the camera shutter button and volume controller.
