Sony Ericsson Equinox Review

PiczoomSony Ericsson Equinox TM717 is a stylish flip phone with basic features and is available with T-Mobile’s 3G network. The phone looks very appealing and if you are someone who loves flip phone, you should go through the features of this phone.

The display of the phone measures 2.2 inches with a display resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The display is very clear and everything on the screen appears to be bright and sharp. However, you may not find the same clarity when viewed under direct sunlight. The phone’s spring mechanism is perfect and you can easily open the phone when you get a call.

The phone has a very light weight of 3.5 ounces. The internal memory of the phone is 100MB and you can expand the external memory up to 16GB. The keypad has been kept simple and you will not find any problems in typing message or dialing the contact numbers.

Sony Ericsson Satio Review – First 12 MP Cam Phone and Symbian s60 Phone from Sony Ericsson

sony-ericsson-satio-bordeaux-4Satio is the first 12 megapixel cell phone from Sony Ericsson. The phone has a  3.5 inch display screen and from this we can understand that Satio is not a compact cell phone. However, the phone only weighs 126g which is quite less for a phone that is fully loaded with features. Satio looks like a digital camera that comes with a touch sensitive screen.

The huge display of the phone supports 16 million colors and has a display resolution of 360 x 640 pixels. It has a resistive display screen. You will not have any issues to view the display under artificial light; however you may not see the display clearly under direct sunlight. At the bottom of the display screen, you can find the three thin buttons. Each of these buttons is meant for ’send’, ‘main menu’ and ‘end’. On the left side of the screen, you can find the microSD card slot and a charger port. On the opposite site, you will find the camera shutter, mode switcher and buttons for accessing gallery.

Sadly, the Sony Ericsson Satio is not provided with 3.5mm audio jack. At the rear of the phone, the much hyped 12 megapixel camera is present with Xenon flash. Satio is also the first Symbian 60 phone from Sony Ericsson. It has got 5th edition version of s60, the same that can be found on Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, Samsung Omnia HD i8910, etc.
