Sony Ericsson Aspen is a Pocket PC device with Symbian interface and the Windows Mobile OS – WinMo Pro. This phone belongs to the eco-friendly line of Greenheart phones. The phone is made up of recycled materials. The phone measures 117 x 60 x 12.5mm and weighs 130g.
The size of the resistive TFT display is 2.4 inches and has a display resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and supports 65k colors. Below the display, you can find a big d-pad along with the control and navigation buttons followed by the 4-row QWERTY keyboard. When all the world is waiting for Windows Phone 7 devices, LG has managed to release first Windows Mobile device for Verizon – LG Fathom VS750. The phone’s look won’t impress you; however its durability can be felt through its plastic construction. The corner and edges are slightly curved. The phone measures 115 x 56 x 17mm and weighs 152 which is slightly on the bulky side. It has got a 3.2 inches TFT resistive touchscreen that is capable of displaying 256k colors at a display resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It is not easy to view the display under bright sunlight. It has been officially declared that the HTC HD Mini is the last smartphones to have the Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Professional operating system. Hence, we are skeptical as to how this phone is going to compete with other smart phones that are powered with famous operating systems like Android and Symbian.
